Dr. Baylee Engelhardt

Dr. Baylee Engelhardt, Au.D., CCC-A is a graduate of East Carolina University's Doctorate of Audiology program. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. Dr. Engelhardt specializes in Auditory Processing Disorder. She performs APD evaluations and therapy in our Northern Virginia office, as well as via telehealth to surrounding areas in Virginia, Alaska, and Florida.

Dr. Baylee co-created the ListenHEAR Interactive APD Therapy Suite alongside Dr. Rachel Cohen. Together, they developed an evidence-based platform that enhances the engagement and accessibility of APD therapy for both children and adults. Audiologists and speech-language pathologists worldwide now utilize the ListenHEAR Interactive APD Therapy Suite to enhance listening skills, auditory memory, sound decoding, and integration skills through interactive activities completed one-on-one via telehealth or in-person sessions. Dr. Baylee's background in auditory processing and patient-centered care, combined with her compassionate care, has made quality APD therapy available to more people—whether they're in a clinic, school, or working with her remotely. Dr. Engelhardt lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, James, her son, Strider, and their dog, Kokomo.

​Dr. Engelhardt holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In addition, she holds a license of audiology from the Alaska Regulation of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, and her Florida and Virginia state audiology licenses.
